Parallel18, the San Juan-based startup incubator funded by Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust, recently held “Pre18” DemoEvent — a showcase of their companies. It was a joy to watch these entrepreneurs pitch their businesses and I am looking forward to mentoring them and helping them grow.
In case you missed it, here’s the entire roster of pre18 startups presenting. And if you want to learn more about them and see how you can get involved to help make them a success, here’s the full list of startups. Their asks range from investment to introductions/networking to distribution and more, so there are a lot of opportunities to get involved with these companies.
And, in case the entrepreneurial bug has bit you — P18’s Gen9 application is now open! The P18 team is there to assist if you have any questions about the application process or the type of companies that have a higher chance of being accepted. Drop an email to cobi at parallel18 dot com and the team will get back with you immediately. And, if you or someone you know is interested in building their startup right here in Puerto Rico, with a no strings attached grant to help you get started, please apply or forward this along.
Finally, if you listen to podcasts and want to learn more about Parallel18, check out my interview with P18 Operations Manager Eduardo Padial on Anchor, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify and more. Enjoy!
