   Hey Dave,

   It was cool talking with you today and catching up on stuff. Our discusion of WOM got me thinking. Ok. Here was my day.

   I woke up and went to an exercise class at Henry Ford Community College that my wife referred me to several semesters ago (we've been going for 3 years now).

   Then I had to run out to a tailor for a suit fitting and I went to a tailor that a cowoker of mine told me was excellent.

   Then I went to my credit union, which I am a member of because my parents told me it is a good place.

   Then I went to Cosco, the greatest WOM example in the world. Of course I heard of Costco from a friend. Do they even advertise?

   So then I went to a fish place my friend told me has great fish (it was).

   Then I ended the night as the Detroit Opera House at a show that I was told was outstanding I(it was and I should add that I got free tickets from my job -- but I still wanted to go to the show).

   What a great example of how powerfull WOM is in our daily lives. I wouldn't even have thought about it if I didn't talk to you.

   Good stuff man. Maybe I'll write about this on the DIFF blog

   Definitely write about it on The Diff. What was that stat that I heard on the radio, something like 9 out of 10 people recommend a friend to use Rock?

   I think you should propose joining WOMMA at the Q. I'm sure there are a ton of WOM examples you could share.

   Geez, Clayton, do you make any of your own decisions? Just kidding.

   I think WOM can be even more powerful with women, because they love to tell people about their experiences, especially while shopping.

   (I know it's hard to believe, but I've never been to Cosco before. Just don't have one anywhere near me.)

   If you've never been to Costco, you will be blown away the first time you go. I know I'm a little nutty about Costco, but my God, it makes me happy to shop there.

   Tonja, you should stop in for Clay's $1.50 hot dog & a soda special. It rocks!

   But beware... NO ONE can get out of there without spending $100.
